Finally Done. Barring something going horribly wrong, I have passed all of my required classes and will be graduating next Saturday.
Brb, sleeping till Thursday
Also, have a boat (part of my senior project, and source of many sleepless nights)

That looks like one of my Battleship Craft warwagons that were unstoppable until A) that fucking update, and B) that fucking iOS wipe.

Not intended as such, but the resemblance certainly did occur to us. The pipes are there to allow adjustment front-back of the outriggers to compensate for weight and buoyancy balance of the main hull

I kinda figured it had something to do with connecting the two parts. Now that class is over you should modify it post-apocalipse style so that they are machine guns. So obviously a boat, but what was the project. how did you make the hulls / what material? Thats my final project for grad school. Its a hotel. I got drunk/stoned while building it. When my wife (gf at the time) woke up I had torn apart the christmas tree to light up the interior.

hahahah. Not actually a class exactly, my school actually has something called MQP, Major Qualifying Project. It takes that place of a normal class and runs for the whole year. Just the student group (4 in my case) and an advisor.
Its part of a larger design, essentially the response portion of a lifeguard assist system.
The hull was an interesting process. It is made of lasercut cardboard cross-sections, taped together and then fiberglassed over. Between the 3 hulls there are more than 600 pieces of cardboard.

Was the glass on cardboard just to make molds or is that the hulls themselves?

thats pretty intense. I got to use a laser cutter. between the shitty reliability and the school started charging us we all abandoned it.
